About NEXTEK

A better way to approach technology.

NEXTEK was built on a straightforward idea: technology should work reliably, be easy to use, and be supported by someone who stands behind their work.

Our Story

Technology Integration Done Right

NEXTEK was founded to provide Mid-Michigan homeowners and organizations with a better technology integration experience, one built on honest recommendations, professional installation, and real follow-through.

Too many technology projects end with systems that don't work as expected, clients who don't know how to use what was installed, and no one to call when something goes wrong. NEXTEK was created to be the alternative.

We work with residential and commercial clients throughout Midland, Bay City, Saginaw, Mount Pleasant, and the surrounding Mid-Michigan area. Every project, regardless of size, gets the same level of planning, workmanship, and support.

Serving Midland, Bay City, Saginaw, Mount Pleasant, and surrounding Mid-Michigan communities.

Dave Beattie

President, NEXTEK LLC

Dave brings a combination of industry training and hands-on technology integration experience to every NEXTEK project. With a communications background from the University of Michigan and certifications across multiple technology disciplines, Dave approaches each project with a methodical, client-first mindset.

His focus is on designing systems that work reliably in the real world, not just in a showroom, and on making sure clients understand and are comfortable with everything that's installed.

How We Work

What We Stand For

Clarity

We explain what we recommend and why. No jargon, no unnecessary complexity, no pressure to buy more than you need.

Reliability

We select equipment and design systems that work consistently — not just on installation day, but for years afterward.

Practical Design

Every system is designed around how the space is actually used, not around what's newest or most impressive on paper.

Honest Recommendations

We tell you what you need, what you don't need, and what the realistic options are — even when that means a smaller project.

Professional Workmanship

Installation is done cleanly and correctly. Cables are managed properly. Systems are configured and tested before we leave.

Long-Term Support

We remain available after the project is complete — for training, troubleshooting, upgrades, and ongoing support.
